About The Project

A 23-story, Class A office tower, 300 South Riverside Plaza contains approximately 1.1 million rentable square feet and is located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Positioned right on the Chicago River, the building has unimpeded views from all vantage points. Built in 1987 and designed by the famous architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, this beautiful glass and steel building has a double-cored, 54,000-square-foot floor plate, where a tenant can take one half of the floor and have the feel of a full floor tenant.

Third Millennium Group redeveloped the building to add new amenities, including a penthouse conference center, a private riverfront patio and a movie theater. The owner hired CCS to provide cost estimating, cost management and project management for the renovation of the 25,000-square-foot lobby, including new finishes, turnstiles, security console and seating. The project also includes the development of a new 3,500-square-foot winter garden on the west plaza. This project has a goal of a LEED Gold certification.
