Children’s Hospital at The King’s Daughters

Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) is the only freestanding children’s hospital in Virginia and serves the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the eastern shore of Virginia, and northeastern North Carolina. The nonprofit CHKD health system operates primary care pediatric practices, surgical practices, multiservice health centers, urgent care centers and satellite offices throughout its service region. CCS has completed 10 projects to date for CHKD, from a new administration building to the modernization of an existing 10-story tower, which involved applying a new façade.
