Enbridge

Enbridge Inc. is a leading energy delivery company in North America. They move about 25% of the crude oil produced in North America, transport nearly 20% of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. and operate North America’s third-largest natural gas utility by consumer count. CCS completed a 16,736-square-foot replacement facility for an existing building that Hurricane Laura damaged in August 2020. Design firm HOK contracted to analyze the damage and give suggestions for the repair or rebuild of the facility. CCS was initially to provide only a conceptual construction cost estimate for rebuilding the facility and/or repairing the facility. After our thorough assessment, everyone agreed that the best solution was a complete demolition and rebuild of the building. At a cost of $5.3 million, the project used a pre-engineered building structure and consisted of an 11,000-square-foot office area and a 5,500-square-foot shop area.
