About The Project

Marriott is the largest hotel chain in the world according to the number of available rooms. It has 30 brands with 7,642 properties containing 1,423,044 rooms in 131 countries and territories. As Marriott International’s flagship brand, Marriott Hotels cater to business travelers who are on the go and in need of no-frills meeting facilities and business centers. Along with guest-focused customer service, Marriott properties include fully equipped fitness centers, authentic local cuisine, swimming pools and concierge services. CCS has provided Owners’ services along with cost management for a number of properties in the Chicago area.

Marriott Marquis Chicago and Wintrust Arena Heat Exchangers

CCS was involved in the addition of flooded heat exchangers to the 1,200-room Marriott Marquis and the 10,000-seat Wintrust Arena steam heat systems. The new heat exchangers will control the temperature of the condensate before it combines with the low temperature campus system.

Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, Bloomington Illinois

CCS managed the construction of a 40,000-square-foot conference center located inside a new 228-room Marriott Hotel. Amenities include a pool, restaurant, fitness center, business center and concierge service. The conference center connects to the historic Normal Theater, which presents guests with unique entertainment and meeting opportunities. The project included a new five-story parking structure with 500 spaces (168,367 square feet) with a climate-controlled skywalk across Beaufort Street.

Chicago Marriott Suites – Chicago, IL

We were involved in a 40,000-square-foot renovation of the Hall of Cities Ballroom and third-floor conference rooms within the Chicago Marriott Suites. Our multiphased work included upgraded finishes, newly subdivided spaces, new operable partitions and a state-of-the-art dimming system. It also included relocation and construction of new public restrooms and prefunction spaces. The second phase included a transformation of an original guestroom floor into conference rooms and a new lounge with public restrooms.
